FAQ’s

How far will you travel for a wedding?
I photograph weddings in Blair, Centre, Bedford, Clearfield, Huntingdon, and Cambria counties.  I probably won’t travel outside of that range, but I would love to refer you to someone who lives in your area or who travels from around here.

Do you do senior, maternity, or child portraiture? Nope.  I love seniors, pregnant ladies, and children, but have decided to specialize in weddings.  Over time I realized that the blogs I follow and the reading which drew me in all had to do with wedding photography.  I am passionate about wedding photography.  So I concluded I would specialize in weddings and put all of my effort into being an exceptional wedding photographer (not a photographer who just happens to also do weddings.)

What should I wear to an engagement session? Wear something that makes you feel gorgeous and isn’t too busy (we want to keep the focus of the pictures on your eyes, not your shirt.)

How much time should I leave for the formal wedding pictures? An ideal scenario would leave 30-40 minutes for family pictures, 15-25 minutes for outside wedding pictures, and 45 minutes for the formal couple photographs.  Add that together with whatever travel time you have, and you’ll have a rough estimate of timing for the middle part of the day.

One often overlooked and underestimated timing consideration is the receiving line.  In some scenarios that can take upwards of 45 minutes.

Do you come to the bride’s house or a different location before the ceremony? You bet.  I love when brides choose this option.  It makes for fabulous pictures.
